Exterior Car Detailing in Fuquay-Varina, NC

A proper hand wash with paint decontamination and sealant when needed.

Automatic car washes are convenient, and they are quietly grinding swirl marks into your paint. We do not wash that way. We use a rinseless system: polymers encapsulate each dirt particle so it stops being abrasive, then lift it off the surface instead of dragging it across your clear coat. It is also a natural water softener, so nothing etches while the car dries.

Every job runs on 100% spot-free water. The van carries a 100-gallon tank and a deionizing resin filtration system that strips the minerals out before a drop touches your paint. The Wash/Clay/Seal package adds bonded-contamination removal and six months of high-gloss sealant.

What customers say about exterior detailing.

Verbatim. Picked because they mention this kind of work.

“Jeff did an absolutely fantastic job detailing my Porsche Macan. His professionalism and attention to detail was very impressive. When he was done the car looked brand new like it had just come straight off the dealership lot. He took his time to make sure every inch was spotless both inside and out. The convenience of having a mobile detailer come to me made the experience even better. I highly recommend Jeff to anyone looking for top-quality detailing work. I’ll definitely be using his services again!”

Noah Ahlers · Google

“Jeff's detailing was literally the bright spot in my otherwise chaotic used car purchase. My car looks brand new and I feel like I am the first owner. Plus, I got to know Jeff, who is great to talk to and work with. I highly recommend AutoGloss. Thank you, Jeff!”

How it works

The process.

  1. 01

    Pre-spray and spotless rinse

Loosens grit before anything touches the paint — on deionized, 100% spot-free water.

  2. 02

    Rinseless hand wash, no-scratch dry

Rinseless wash encapsulates and lifts the dirt rather than pushing it around. Traditional car soap is only surfactants; this is not.

  3. 03

    Clay towel and seal

On the Wash/Clay/Seal package, bonded contamination comes off with a clay towel — which does not induce the marring an old-style clay bar leaves behind — and a high-gloss sealant goes on.

Questions

Exterior Detailing questions.

How often should I get a maintenance wash?
Every two to four weeks keeps a coated or sealed car looking new and stops contamination from bonding.
What is a rinseless wash, and is it safe on my paint?
Safer than traditional car soap. Soap is mostly surfactants. Rinseless wash adds polymers that encapsulate each dirt particle so it is no longer abrasive, then emulsify and lift it off the surface. It is also a natural water softener, so you do not get hard-water spotting as the car dries.
Do you use my water?
No. The van carries 100 gallons and a deionizing resin filtration system, so every vehicle is washed and rinsed with 100% spot-free water. Hard water is what leaves the mineral deposits that bake into paint, glass and trim in the sun.
What's the difference between sealant and ceramic coating?
Sealant sits on top of the paint and lasts about six months. A ceramic coating bonds to it and is rated for years. Sealant is included in Wash/Clay/Seal; coatings are their own service.
